Educator Experience

I am currently in my seventh year as a science teacher. This is my second year as a seventth grade science teacher at Sugar Land Middle School where I serve as cosponsor to the Coding and Robotics Club and Science Club. In addition, I am the campus Web Master and participate in the Equip Academy which provides me with 15 laptops to use in my classroom. I participate in  Impact Teams which encourages student ownership in learning and am a member of the Emergency Response Team.

I previously taught 6th grade science at James H. Baker Sixth Grade Campus in La Porte, TX where I served as the robotics coach.  In 2015, my robotics partner and I

were awarded a grant for $3,658 to help implement a robotics club at our campus. In 2016, we were awarded a grant for $4,000 to purchase iPads for the robotics program.
