7th Grade Science

Introduction

This page provides information and research that helped to develop a 7th grade science blended learning course.  This course will be presented in a blended learning environment, students will meet both in class and be required to participate in additional learning through online learning.

Learning Goals & Desired Results

Students will develop understanding of the 7th grade TEKS.

Foundational: Learners will explore land formations to help understand and appreciate the way the world functions.

Knowledge Application: Learners will create a video of the events and formations

Integration: Learners will develop an eportfolio to display their video presentation.

Human Dimension/ Caring: Learners will develop communication skills by collaborating with students in other locations.

Learning How to Learn: Learners will develop technology skills to help with organization.  Learners will develop time management and organizational skills.
