I was honored to be asked to facilitate multiple sessions of professional development for other Robotics and Engineering teachers in my district. The purpose of the course was to help Robotics and Engineering Teachers to learn best practices from other Robotics teachers to help improve the efficiency, impact and overall logistics of a Robotics Classroom. We worked through various parts of the curriculum including hands-on projects like building model rockets and balsa gliders. Giving these teachers hands on experiences with various projects helped them to gain the understanding of the assignments from the student perspective and will help teachers identify common student misconceptions.
